March 28, 2023, Special Bushnell Township Board meeting was called to order with pledge by Supervisor Christopher Smith at 6:00 pm at Bushnell Township Hall. Those present: Supervisor Christopher Smith; Trustee Mike Fitzgerald; Treasurer Karron Conklin Bliss; Trustee Patrick Draper; Clerk Louise Belyou;
resident Tanner Smith
Motion by Fitzgerald, support by Draper to approve the agenda. Carried.
Motion by Draper, support by Fitzgerald to amend budget $1,540 from Twp Board to total expenses. Approved.
Motion by Fitzgerald, support by Draper to accept $158,195.26 treasurer's report. Carried.
Motion by Draper, support by Fitzgerald to accept March 14, reg board meeting minutes as presented. Carried.
Motion by Fitzgerald, supported by Draper to approve $53,692.09 for invoices 3-1-23 through 3-28-23. Carried.
Discussion by board regarding proposed budget. Opened public comment for questions regarding the budget proposal.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None
Motion by Bliss, support by Draper to accept the proposed budget to present at the budget hearing which allows for future amendments to Roads and Fire Department for unexpected fire department expense and road contracts that exceed budget for 2023-2024 fiscal year. Approved.
Motion by Fitzgerald, supported by Draper to accept proposed mow charges by Brandon Breen for 2023 mow season. Motion carried.
