TAKE NOTICE,  that the Township Board of Bushnell Township will hold a special meeting on Thursday, January 4, 2024, commencing at 6:00 p.m. (local time) at the Sheridan Community Center, located at 205 St. Clair Street, Sheridan, Michigan 48884. The Township Board may discuss, deliberate, and potentially take action on the following: the approval of minutes from the November regular Township Board meeting, DTE Electric Company’s application for a Township commercial solar energy conversion system permit for the Fish Creek Solar Park, and any other business that may lawfully come before the Township Board.

TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that the Township Board will hold a public hearing during the special meeting on January 4, 2024, to receive public comment pertaining to the application for a Township commercial solar energy conversion system permit submitted by the DTE Electric Company regarding the Fish Creek Solar Park. During the hearing, the applicant will be allowed to present the application to the Township Board.

Until the close of the public hearing or any adjournment thereof, the application may be inspected and examined at Township Hall, located at 2983 East Boyer Road Fenwick, Michigan 48834, Monday through Friday by appointment only. Appointments may be made by contacting the Township Clerk.

Written comments may be submitted in lieu of or in addition to a personal appearance. Written comments must be received no later than 12 p.m. (noon) on January 4, 2024. Written comments should be addressed to the Township Board and must be sent to the Township Clerk at P.O. Box 6, Fenwick, MI 48834 or via email at clerk@bushnelltownship.com.

Individuals requesting reasonable accommodation for impairments or disabilities should contact the Township Clerk no less than 72 hours prior to the public hearing.
